psychedelic integration Psychotherapy

About Us

The Integration Collective is a psychotherapy collective specializing in trauma-informed psychedelic integration. We are a collective of psychological associates and associate marriage and family therapists dedicated to providing integrative care.

We offer psychotherapeutic preparation, integration, and aftercare support for medicine journeys and expanded states of consciousness experiences. Our therapists are trained in a range of modalities, including somatic, depth-oriented, mindfulness-based approaches, psychoanalytic, and transpersonal psychotherapy. Our collective is founded by and led by women.

We are here to support you at any point in your journey, whether you are curious or new to plant medicine, if your experience was five years ago, or yesterday. We are here for you.

Psychedelic Integration

Psychedelic Integration is the ongoing process of embodying insights, understandings, and expanded states of consciousness from a psychedelic or plant medicine experience, into daily life for the purpose of personal growth and healing.

Somatic Awareness

Somatic (body-based) awareness is foundational to our understanding of healing, trauma, and integration.

We believe in the profound connection between the mind and body, and the essential role of somatic awareness for psychedelic integration. The Integration Collective integrates somatic practices such as breath work, body awareness, and bioenergetic practices as a therapeutic modality for healing and stabilizing the body. Honoring the wisdom of the body is a cornerstone for psychedelic integration and healing trauma.

Adverse Psychedelic Experiences

We understand that psychedelic experiences are an unfoldment of a ‘spiritual emergence’ first coined by Stanslov and Christina Grof in the late 1970s. Spiritual emergence occurs when an individual comes into a more expanded way of being, such as a deeper connection with themselves, other people, nature, and the cosmos.

However, without the proper support and conceptual framework to understand and integrate their experiences, this emergence can quickly escalate into a spiritual emergency’. This can be highly a distressing, disorienting, and isolating time for an individual. Our psychedelic integration psychotherapy offers a trauma-informed lens of psychological support, embodied grounding, somatic integration, and compassionate guidance to individuals at all stages of their healing journey. We are here for you weeks before in the preparation phase or immediately following a psychedelic experience.

Transpersonal Psychology

Transpersonal psychology integrates the spiritual and transcendent aspects of the human experience through Eastern wisdom, cross-cultural myths and archetypes, indigenous healing traditions, and East-West modalities of modern psychology. Understanding the realms of human consciousness. Our therapists are trained in transpersonal and depth-oriented psychotherapy approaches to support spiritually oriented healing expereinces. What is it and why do you use it. More suited to expanded states of consciounsess.

Honoring Indigenous Wisdom

Our collective is grounded on unceded Ohlone and Kumeyaay territory. We honor the teachings, wisdom, and stewardship of sacred medicines held by First Nations peoples. We recognize that these traditions carry deep healing knowledge and we aim to approach them with humility, respect, and care.

Our therapists are trained in cross-cultural awareness, diversity, and social justice, integrating these values into their work with clients while holding space for the spiritual and transcendent dimensions of healing.

As a collective, we actively seek to support Indigenous communities through partnerships, donations, and by amplifying voices and practices that have been historically marginalized, ensuring that our work contributes to healing that is ethical, respectful, and culturally aware.
