About Me
Physical and emotional health are deeply connected. Maybe you haven't slept well in months and you're snapping at the people you love. Maybe pain has become so constant that you've stopped doing the things that used to matter to you. If you've tried pushing through difficult thoughts and feelings only to find yourself more stuck, you're not alone, and there may be a better way forward. Whatever emotional challenges you are working through, I welcome the opportunity to support you toward healing.
I practice primarily from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. After a comprehensive intake session, I'll help you identify your relationship to difficult thoughts and feelings so they lose their grip on you. We’ll identify well-worn patterns in your behaviors that just aren’t working anymore. We'll explore what matters most to you, and I'll support you in building a life guided by those values, even when pain shows up along the way. Whether you are processing something difficult or disorienting, suffering from depression and anxiety, or looking to deepen self-understanding and personal growth, this work is available to you.
I also have a particular interest in serving Asian-American and Desi communities. As a second-generation Marathi-American, I recognize the unique pressures that can arise around career, dating, marriage, sexual orientation, aging, family expectations, and identity in our community. Therapy has historically felt like a “White space,” but we all deserve support in a place where we don’t have to “translate” our selves to our providers. I operate from a place of cultural humility and gratitude to anyone who feels brave about overcoming stigma around seeking mental health treatment.
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. My training is rooted in a cognitive-behavioral framework, strongly informed by mindfulness practices.
I am currently not accepting new clients at this time.
